Fencing

In NSW, pool fences must be installed, inspected by licensed inspectors and registered with the NSW Government Swimming Pool Register.

Beyond legal requirements, a pool fence is also a barrier to the very young, your household pets and anyone who should not be swimming unsupervised.

However, there is no reason why a pool fence should look unattractive or dull. Pool fences can be beautiful and rugged in equal measure.

Nautical Pools offers glass fencing, metal/powder coated fencing and aluminium fencing.

Paving

Paving around a swimming pool is not only an attractive option, but it is also a critical pool maintenance consideration.

Swimming pools that are surrounded by surfaces like natural grass often wind up with dirty water and drains clogged with grass and mud.

Paving eliminates this issue and also contributes to all-around cleanliness throughout your pool area.

Nautical Pools provides paving options for the area immediately around the pool, as well throughout the entire pool area.

These options include, but are not limited to retaining walls, brickwork and pool edge capping.

Concreting

The surfaces that you select to surround your pool are just as important as the pool selection itself.

When choosing the surface that surrounds your pool, you must naturally consider your safety and the safety of your swimmers.

Pools that are surrounded by an irregular surface (for example, a smooth cement slab with no built-in texture or traction) can quickly turn into a dangerously slick surface; resulting in possible serious injury.

However, a textured slab that is plain in appearance doesn’t lend itself to an inviting pool scape.

Nautical Pools offers delightful concreting options, including stencil-crete, pebble-crete and stamp-crete; all of which provide both decorative touches and practical safety measure.

In-pool or stand-alone spa: There is no better way to relax and rejuvenate tired muscles than in your private spa, and Nautical Pools offers spas that are both in-pool and stand-alone (above-ground). Ask about our pool and spa packages at the time of your free site visit.
Solar pool heating: Here is an extra that is good for the environment and great for your wallet. Ask about installing solar pool heating as an option for electric or natural gas heating. You’ll get more use out of your pool more often, and your energy savings will add up quickly.
